Chromium form Sowelo is a product containing chromium picolinate. It is a trace element popular for its weight loss-enhancing properties. It has a beneficial effect on the metabolism of sugars, fats and proteins.
As a component of glucose tolerance factor, organic chromium is involved in the metabolism of glucose (ingested sugar). In practice, this means that when blood sugar levels rise, it transports glucose into cells together with insulin and facilitates its absorption.
